Intro
For our first stop at Computex 2026, we visited Montech’s suite. The company showed off new cases. With the crazy RAM prices at the moment, the company unveiled a $60 case that comes with 4 fans.

Montech F738
Starting things off, the company’s F738 case is interesting. Users can open and close its front aluminum grill. We’re really interested in testing this for flow and acoustics and getting it into our hemi-anechoic chamber.

One of the SKUs for the case includes 2x170mm fans in the front that are 30mm thick. 170 fans are an uncommon size but have been good performers as Lian Li has demonstrated.

The case will come in either a glass or mesh variant and will retail for $100 - $110.
The interesting gimmick about the case is that it’s got a floating-style design, where it separates the lower chamber and upper chamber. The support is on the back, which is made of steel internally. It also has a removable support that, we think, is mostly used during the shipping process. Once it’s removed, it can turn into a phone stand.
The back of the case has a little cable cover that can be removed. The power supply is in a somewhat standard position. The F738 also has grommets that feature a stringy approach, which is similar to HAVN’s BF 360 design.
The case also supports back-connect and offers relatively wide channels for the EPS 12-volt connector.
The Vision version of the case comes with 2x120mm fans on the side and a 120mm fan in the rear. Since the case has a floating design, the bottom intake ends up being elevated and more in the middle, which still goes straight into the GPU. Although it wasn’t ready when we saw it, Montech says they plan on adding a magnetic dust filter to the bottom here, since it will be used for intake.
The GPU should benefit a lot from bottom intake as they always do. What we’re curious about is whether the bottom front intake fan might push air out through the bottom and out of the case due to its floating-style design, which means it wouldn’t be as effective. Once we get the case in, we’ll probably cover a portion of the holes to test it. Overall, we think it should be a good performer as long as the front is open since it uses 2 big fans that are right next to the GPU.
The screen on the F738 is a steel plate by default and isn’t included. Montech is aiming to release the case around September or October.
Montech King 95 3D

This case is interesting because it features a recessed fan tray on the side that almost aligns perfectly with the motherboard tray. It also has a fan mount that you can socket in if you wanted to add a third fan up top.
It features ventilation on the side panel with an angled grill. Both vents have removable filters.

The case can fit 3x120mm fans at the bottom, 2x120mm fans in the rear, and 2x120mm fans on the side with that option to include a third. It features plenty of holes, which means ventilation is good despite having so much glass.

Though Montech showed it at its suite, the case does not include GPU riser and vertical stand, which will be sold separately.
The motherboard tray has fairly deep cable-management space because the front edge comes out so much to accommodate the top mount fans and radiator.

Speaking of the radiator, we haven’t seen that many cases that have the top radiator mounted sideways.
The King 95 3D will be $120 with no fans.
Montech TG3

The company’s cheap case is called the TG3 and will retail for $60. It’s mostly interesting for its budget price but it does also have a unibody 3-fan shroud housing and includes a fourth rear fan, all of which are 120mm.
The variant with the curved glass will retail for $90 and will come with an LED strip at the bottom of the case. Montech is aiming to release the TG3 in either June or July.

The cheaper $60 model comes with 4 fans, but does not come with the LED strip or the curved glass.
The case uses a unibody fan design, which is new for Montech. We’re a bit mixed on this approach because if one fan dies, you have to RMA all 3 of them.
Montech’s fans here are similar to the HS01 and HS02 fans, from what the company told us, those fans have a slight rattle, so they’ve changed the swoop of the blade towards the outer side of the frame to flatten it a bit to deal with that noise. The blades should be polycarbonate and use a 30% fiberglass injection for the frame with PBT.
The case does have a titanium-colored power supply shroud that’s fully perforated on the front, side, and top, which is nice. And the white version of the case comes with a white power supply shroud. The RGB strip is on the shroud of the $60 model.
The IO on the front is pretty basic: 2 USB type A, one type C, and a combined audio input. There isn’t a lot of clearance on the bottom of the chassis but there isn’t going to be bottom intake on the case. Montech said that the large space in front of the shroud could be used for figurines.

The back of the case uses a steel panel and has perforations for the fans.
Opening it up, the grommets have a bit of a curve to them. The case itself uses a cheese grater motherboard tray design. It supports back-connect. It also includes an RGB hub.
The case’s dust filter is built into the top panel to achieve its lower cost, which can lower performance slightly, though it’s just a couple degrees at most.
Montech also has a Lian Li-eqsue fan that has a daisy chain system.
