Gaming Hardware Sales: $27 430W PSU, $150 X99 Motherboard, RGB Keyboards
Posted on August 9, 2015
As August continues on, we approach the restart of convention season. IDF and PAX aim to conclude the year, leading into the chaos of CES in January. Until that point, we're relying on existing hardware to close-out the year. This weekend's sales round-up sees the inclusion of a 430W 80 Plus Bronze PSU at $27, an MSI X99S Plus motherboard for $150, and an RGB mechanical keyboard for $100.
Corsair CX430M PSU ($27): An MIR takes $20 off the price of this PSU instantly, but an oh-so-generous $3 discount discount code can be applied using “EMCAWAT42” at checkout. Despite its price, the PSU is actually reasonable for budget PC builds that don't utilize high-end graphics hardware. 430W is ample power for APU or cheap CPU + dGPU solutions.
MSI X99S SLI Plus Board ($150): Use code 0804FYSUS13 at checkout for an instant $40 discount. An additional $20 MIR brings the total from $220 to $150. The X99S Plus motherboard isn't the best X99 unit on the market, but it'll get users on the low-end SKU extreme-series CPU started.
Tesoro Excalibur Spectrum RGB ($100): Knocked down to $100 right now, Tesoro's Excalibur Spectrum keyboard is one of the most affordable RGB LED boards on the market. This is a board we recently discussed in our RGB mechanical keyboard round-up, something that you should read if you haven't yet.
That's all for now. Take it easy, folks.
